Fan layout/location

I was thinking I would just get 4 pin fans.

How about getting 2 in the back for exhaust, and 2 in the front sucking in, (even tho my HDD is right under my floppy). (+ the 2 side fans sucking in)
Would that be a good configuration?

That would work just fine, especially if you have an athlon 64, they run prety cool and don't need that much airflow to keep them nice and cool.

Intels run hotter but they can take it, so they don't need to be cooled that much either.

I have an athlon, I started this whole thread, because when I was playing warcraft 3, the cpu temp went up to like 53 degrees C, which sort of made me worried.

EDIT: The cpu temp is around 38 degrees C idle and 40 when surfin teh web.

Hmm, that is pretty hot, but the Venice core is known to run hotter than say the Winchester core.

what i think you should do is keep the two side fans that came with the case blowing in air, then get two of these AWESOME fans http://store.yahoo.com/directron/ddfs81u1.html which blow the air out and have those 2 in the back and then if you still feel like you need more cooling maybe get a vantec stealth 80mm for the front. if you want more infor on the dual storms here http://www.computerforums.org/showthread.php?t=17095&highlight=dual+storm the only bad thing is if you buy 2, it would take up 2 pci slots but i think its worth it. on full power, which is pretty loud, it took my cpu tem from 57 to 48, even though its on the case. so two of them would be awesome.

hope this helps
