Nah, seriously, what type of processor? AMD or Intel? What model number?

AMD Athlon XP/Duron
AMD Athlon64 (First series)
AMD Athlon64 (newer CPUs)
AMD AthlonFX (originals)
AMD AthlonFX (newer models)

Intel Pentium II
Intel Pentium III (slot based)
Intel Pentium III (socket based)
Intel Pentium IV (1.3GHz-2.0GHz using RDRAM)
Intel Pentium IV (1.8GHz-3.0GHz)
Intel Pentium IV (newer model 2.8GHz-3.8GHz)
Intel Celeron (too many to list...)

Why do you want a new processor i am getting a 2.8Ghz one for the pc i am building at 12 years old, So i dont think its that out of date.

or maybe you're just not getting a good comp hehe. just kidding. Yeah most games will run on a 2.4 but if you want to upgrade go with something a little higher.
