When the background is light the text is black, but the other text is lighter. Hmm.

Hmm ... there are many websites growing that actually let yoyu change the interface to suit your need, one example is msn.com which lets you change the colour scheme.
Thsi grey colour doesn't really bother me, although sometimes it does clash with the brightness of the screen.
