MOBO drivers problem

I have the drivers for all my MOBO stuff on disk. it not an official disk, as in it's burnt. I have intergraded sound and LAN port on my MOBO. the LAN showed up in devive manager so it was easy to intall the driver. the sound on the over hand does not. so my question is how i'm i going to get my intergraded sound to work? i have tried to scan for new hardware and it doesn't come up.

I have the audio drivers i just don't know where to put them, but thanks for the link. i'll have to bookmark it so when i loose the disk i can get the drivers,lol.

Well, then go to device manager and click update in the audio drivers tab...

There are 5 things under audio and none of them are my MOBO's intergraded sound.

Under sound, video and games (speaker icon) it must be audio controller Realtek...

Nope, none of the things under sound, video and games have drivers.

Download the latest drivers (May 19 2005), and install it...

I did already. it installs it into a temp folder. now i know thats not the right place, where should it go?

They must be in the C:Windows/system 32/drivers folder...
