What kind of cooling device do I need? My case has an 80mm and 2 120mm is that enough?

Is there anything else I need? I am open to suggestions of different brands, products, etc. Also is everything compatible with each other?

Yeah, you'll need another fan or two. That HD will get pretty hot running at 10k. Also, you may not need the sound card. The motherboard already has integrate 8-channel audio.

Yes! Very nice cpu... I have the 3500+. Yes, you will. But trust me. With the new dual cores out, for amd, all you have to do, to upgrade, is to buy the chip and do a bios upgrade. For intel, you need a whole new mobo. It's good for the long run and amd is a great cpu. Yes, I have bought from newegg numerous times... it's a good place. ALso, floppy's are pretty much obselete. Get a usb mass storage device. Holds many more of them in a lot smaller space. I would say one fan would suffice, unless you want to get two. lol... hopet his helps.

For the scsi drive you need a scsi card, or you could just get a 10k rpm sata drive, or better yet get two and make a nice and speedy raid 0 array.

So should I get one like this?

Also do you think it would be better to get two of these or this plus a larger drive for storage at only 7200 rpm.

EDIT: Which of these would you recommend

or

Or if there is a better one any of you could recommend I would appreciate it. And thanks for all of your help everyone.

definatly. and if you have the cash get two and put them in a raid 0 array. besides scsi is a pain, you have to mess with termination etc.
