I always shop from Newegg, I have ties with them. I've compared prices, Newegg is ALWAYS lower. So are you still thinking about upgrading or?

If you want a little better, there are some nice 120gb HDD's a little farther down the page, priced around $70-$80.

I'll tell you about NewEgg's service when my new rig comes. The hard drive I ordered was a Samsung 160GB 7200 RPM. I wanted some size, but the 10,000 RPM drives were just too expensive to warrant less storage capacity. I'm making up the speed difference elsewhere, namely GPU (GeForce 7800) and memory (2GB).

well after a gig u dont notice much boost your hard drive holds u back from there...

You know what's even more fun to say? My current rig (P4 1.7 @ 2.26, GeForce 4 4200ti 128mb, 512RAM) still runs Half-Life 2 at a respectable speed at decent settings, and it's 4 years old.
