XP blue screen on ASRock P4S61

Everytime I try to install my onboard audio drivers, a blue screen appears. Of course, I have to change the board as it's not working correctly.

But, I just want to make sure, that BSOD, does it appears just for fun or does it appears because my audio chipset is fried?

I would check your driver make sure you got it for the right system. like xp me 98 you know the works.

Oh, eveything's well installed, have the right drivers and all kind of other stuff done...it just gives me the BSOD

what is the error code on the bsod and any drivers that are specified?
