I've got the Bluetooth BLUES!!!!!

Hi Everybody !

I'm running winxp home (SP2) on my laptop and having problems with my bluetooth dongle.

I installed the software and then connected my dongle. It did not find my Nokia 6260 mobile phone.

I removed the software and it then found the phone??

I have paired the phone to my laptop, but I cannot send files from my laptop to my phone?

Each time I try to transfer, I get the following error :

"The file was unsuccessful

Send to Nokia 6260

File name (gives file name)

The file transfer failed because the receiving Bluetooth computer or device did not respond.

If you sent the file to another Windows XP computer, that computer must be running the Bluetooth File Transfer Wizard. If you sent the file to a Bluetooth device, make sure the OBEX File Push Profile is installed."

Why is this ???????

Update

I just checked my network connections and there is a PERSONAL ARE NETWORK.

It names a bluetooth device with a great big red cross with it.

I right clicked to add a bluetooth device, but my computer didn't find my phone? Even though my phoned is paired to the laptop????

OK, si I have now reinstalled the software and I can now send files to my mobile, but onlt with the software IVT corporation?

I have 2 bluetooth icons in my tray, one for the software which works and one that doesn't

I now have a pan that shows connected???????

Can I use this without the software?
