OK this is the first time I've actually waited for new hardware to come out. I was told prices will drop on vid cards and CPUs when is this going happen? Any ideas.

Hmm, don't know about CPU's though I know the video card prices will drop with Nvidia on the higher end cards which will then cause a ripple effect all the way down. I'd guess in about a month or so... though its just a guess.

I haven't heard of cpu's dropping but i know video cards will only in the higher card range.

The problem is that sales are rising, and therefore prices tend to get up,
so in this circumstance, staying the same is almost less expensive...

Yeah I get that actaully, though I'm sure the graphics card prices will drop slightly...the higher up ones anyway.

everyone wil be going for the newer cards and therefore the 6600gt's should drop alot when that happens ill be doing my SLI thing
