I don't plan on overclocking my RAM.. but is XMS worth it for the price over the Corsair Valueselect..?

I can run my RAM in Dual Channel and I plan on doing so.. but how much performance difference would I notice?

As I know, it's the best from Corsair, and the advantage probably can be seen more on stress situations...

i have a stick of xms... yeah ... for me it seems that it performs allot better than a regular stick of ram...i have a stick of xms 512mb and 1gig (2x512) valueselect... i have the xms in my computer right now and ordered another gig stick of xms... i don't know if this will help or if others will agree ...but i think its worth it :D

you probably wont see a big difference. The only difference is the latency timings. Which of course the XMS has lower tmings than the Value Select. If you dont plan on ocing, value select is the perfect RAM for you. My friend oc'ed his p4 northwood up to 3.8 with value select. Timings basically tell how fast the RAM talks with the northbridge.
