videos to animated gifs

does anyone know a free program to convert 5 seconds of video to an animated gif

Found two, one called 'Fresh View 4.80' the other 'Video GIF/AVI ThumbCell Creater 1.2', haven't tried them myself so can't say exactly what they do or if they're any good,hope this helps.

I've found this one, though its only a demo and so some features are disabled. Haven't tried it though (The above seem a better choice though posted by Peanutter and I have placed links below:

The Fresh View 4.80 sounds more like what you want though!
