Thinking Computers

When I say fell down the intimation is not one I can post on the forum as it is rather pornographic.
And I have been in trouble since I was 14 years old with women. LOL!!
It all started with my girlfriends mother. :>))

Ah...... oh dear

I guess rumours got around then, huh Per? :p Girls are getting scared of you stealing their virginity... opps

When you touch computer hardware then, does it fix or break with your field being the way it is? :D

I have no idea how this disccusion got to that though... wow... random convosations...don't you just love them? That is where I start to scare girls away...haha, though i just think its my plain weirdness to start with...

Now I'm going off convo... right... thinking computers, anyone?!

You know funny this conversation is to read i'm not as stupid as the *cough gag splat* rest of you...to post anything haha. But good work. I'm glad we fixed this problem.

hehe, problem?.... :( Its a good thread...I'm mean... I made it :D

"rest of you...to post anything haha"

too late for that then :p What do you call what you just did?

What do you lot think of this? Interested me anyways:

"It has long been held true that the biggest problem with computers was
that, despite being able to process squillions of calculations every
second, they are just plain stupid.

But theirs is a strange kind of stupidity which is masked by apparent
intelligence. The paradox is evident in devices that can relentlessly
execute calculations at blistering speeds but which cannot
'understand' anything.

But the snappily named ISO 18629 programming language is set to change
all this. According to its developers, the language is especially
suited for the exchange of process planning, using artificial
intelligence and language analysis to represent computer commands in
the context of an understood plan.

Researchers have incorporated approximately 300 concepts, such as
'duration' and 'sequence', into its software structure.

Just 300 concepts may not sound particularly significant, but behind
its obscure name and modest positioning the language could be the
start of a revolution that sees the arrival of 'intelligent and
understanding' computers."

Its from a news letter I seem to get in my Hotmail account sometimes :p Interesting huh?
What do you expect from something that you must press "START" to turn it off!:D

Oh right yeah...sorry...I just thought about a button the computer to turn it off called 'Start' :p

Well...why not voice recognition for shutdown? I'm sure its possible :D

so a program that would recognise the word 'shutdown', and then run the shutdown program to start the procedure (not sure of the name in Run)

They already have voice recognition for doing that and for typing and reading and all that. It is built in already other than the shut off proceedures
