Use a Tv, so much simpler!

Yeah, but you can't record. You need tivo or something like that and then you need a subscription. Much easier sometimes for a computer to have a tv tuner.

thats y they invented a VCR,lol. no i want to get a TV tuner basically to be able to record stuff and keep it.

Buy TiVO. It's cheap, you can record and playback your recorded shows at anytime.
