Motherboard socket 478 supporting DDR2?

DDR2 isn't even that good. Atleast right now it isn't.

What do you mean BanChan? Is DDR2 not faster than DDR? Will faster not make it better?

rdcmmnst or anyone, tell me more of the advantages and disadvantages of dual channel has over DDR2 please.

without trying to step on anyones toes here....DDR2 at this point and time is just the next step in evolution which means because of design standards(backward compatability) this first step forward is only equal to the last step of ddr dual channel systems. In 3 months, after the transistion, then ddr2 will be the new standard in memory. and will show a most remarkable difference in usage especially with 64 bit computer systems.
So, I think Banchan is saying that it at this time it is not that big of a deal and he would be right. The best thing here would be to wait a few months and then look into the DDR2 thing.
