My suspension due to.... lego porn?

Yes, it's me, spank_fusion (how'd you guess?). I just wanted to say something to setishock: you are a douche. Now, before you get in a huff and suspend this account as well (which I expect you to do anyway), let me explain why:

YOU ARE TOO QUICK TO JUDGE! We've had problems very recently with another thread, and I have to admit that your final actions were very mature. I commend you in just having the issue dropped. This is completely crazy though!

A) There are no rules about posting any porn, let alone some harmless, humorous Lego porn. If you wanted to do something, warning me would have been an appropriate first step as opposed to jumping straight to the suspension. A WEEK, no less....

B) It's freakin' LEGO PORN!!!!1 It's not like I posted real porn! If you don't find it funny, that's fine, but it doesn't warrant a locked thread and my suspension. They're little plastic block things!

C) If you don't like it, don't look at it. I figured I made it pretty clear what it would be before the link would have been clicked, but I guess not. And even if you didn't know what it would link to, refer to point B above. I could have made it clearer, as well.

I think the main point I want to make is that you guys are being too politically correct. How many of you people reading this would be offended by Lego porn? And even if it was something people didn't want on the forums, you could have found that out through further postings/reports and deleted the thread then.

In any case, I'd like to peacefully ask my suspension be revoked.

I don't post here for my personal gain. It is nice to be here, and I enjoy it (except when seti turns into uber-douche, strangely enough), but I don't get anything out of it. If anything, you're hurting the others that I try to help. A week off the forums isn't gonna make me cry myself to sleep. If you want to suspend someone ready to share useful and valuable computer knowledge to all who want it because of Lego porn, so be it.

I think I wrote that kudos thread (also in this forum not too long ago) a bit early. Maybe I was wrong, because I'm starting not to want to be here anymore.

I think that Lego porn is somewhat immature, but seriously...Setishock, you're a great moderator and all, but you really judge too quick. If it was inappropriate, then PM him and tell him that he shouldn't do it again. He did it for humor, not to spread his horniness or fetish for Legos' screwing each other. If he posts Lego porn, I would think he's immature, but I wouldn't be offended or anything.

Yeah, I agree. The forums is a great place of knowledge but for goodness sake, cut some slack...it's like we have invisble hands around our throats...one wrong move and you're dead. At the teamxbox.com forums the moderators don't do anything unless it's EXTREMELY stupid or offensive. There's also like 2-3 times the members there too.

Anywho...that's just my 2 cents.

I think he deserves another chance, and not get his account suspended. He probably didn't even offend anyone. Lego strickens me with rigor mortes.

Also setishock before has posted something violent. In America it is true, that sex is worse than gore. But somewhere else it could be the opposite.

You should be aware that children 13 years and younger are allowed to post here. So do not post messages or link to other sites containing material that is obscene, profane, or sexually-explicit.

You wouldn't want your parents or children to see such material...

In any case, one week suspension is an extreme punishment for something that I have not been warned about. I'd think that if you are a reasonable person, you can understand.

Thanks, seti. It's good to see that the administration enjoys seeing members suffer. Even if one deserves punishment doesn't mean you should gloat about it. If anything, you should be disappointed. What you wrote makes me disappointed in you and your lack of maturity as moderator. Grow up.
