I have a AMD FX 55 Clocked @ 2.8Ghz . Basicly the same chip.
I brought myself two geforce 256Mb 6800 Standards from www.overclockers.co.uk in the US i recommend going to www.newegg.com for the same product.
Now with a slight overclock which the card will do with ease to 400Mhz Core's & 750Mhz Memory . (Overclocking Software From Here http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=163)
And latest drivers from www.nvidia.com. YOU COULD BE GETTING SCORES FROM 7600 amd 64 3200+ AND 8500 on a amd fx 55 IN 3DMARK 2005 AND IN GAME PERFORMANCE TO MATCH.
Please comment about anything i placed in this quick guide and spread it around the internet that you can out bench a single 7800GTX for less then £400.

Quick question would you buy a 7800GTX or Two 6800 Standards In SLI . To tell you the truth i would rather two 7800GTX for the sake of having that SLI ultra performance . I hope to purchuse two of the 7800 Ultras in about a months time.Hence the reasion i didn't buy two 6800GT's this time around.
