Available PCI 2.1 or higher compliant slot for the audio card

Now I got a PCI slots. But I've never heard of a 2.1. What do they mean? Couldn't I just buy this plug it in and it'll work?

It's a spec on the pci slots. If you run Everest you can see the current specs for the pci as well as the agp slot. It is a standard they use.
Google it. Makes for some interesting reading.
