Problem Connecting A CD-ROM to my Computer

I have a currently working DVD-RW Drive, but I want to add a CD-ROM Drive to my computer. When my DVD-RW Drive is connected to the primary and I connected the CD-ROM Drive as the Slave. And when I turn on my computer and go to BIOS, it says on the Primary "PLE@"? and on Slave "Not Detected". And when it goes to Windows, Theres is no Drive connected, only the floppy drive. I tried like 2 different cables and it's still the same.

Can anybody help me with this problem ASAP.

have you cofigured the tiny jumpers on the back of the units to master and slave?

yep, woz, is right here. you got to configure the little jumpers for master and slave positions.
