cannot access hd on suse

i can't get access to the hard drive which has windows xp on the suse live cd. it just says it is not accessible. the black hard drive can be read just fine.

I believe Suse doesn't have NTFS support. You will have to install an RPM.

if you really need to access document on the drive that has XP installe on it, you might try using a tool like partition magic or partition commander to reformat the partition as FAT32 (whilst keeping your data intact!

You can access your stuff in an NTFS partition by enabling NTFS support.

Install the RPM for your distro and follow the instructions. It's very easy.

it says (on the link below) that suse linux 9.0 supports ntfs hard drives. surely it can in 9.3
