hey, i have a sony vaio, we've had it for about a year now, we upgraded its memory about 2 months ago so there's plenty of that.
my problem is that every time we close the internet, it comes up w/a messege that says "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
then lower it says "send error report" and "dont send"
when i click send, it takes me so the microsoft website that says internet explorer might need to be updated, so i click on the install service pack 2 for there sight, it goes to another page, on the right it has a "download" button. I click that, and every time i do so, it freezes.
what do i do?
also, whenever we try to close the programs or folders or internet, the screen stays the same and we cant get out of the programs or the others, so we cant do anything.
please help me.
oh and norton antivirus didnt detect any viruses.
