The issue here is what is it that you want to do. You have an old drive with your OS and you have a blank new drive that you just bought. You have an upgrade version of XP and an old 98 OS. What size is the old drive and the new drive

yeah i just figured out a lil while ago that i dont have to instal 98 then xp called a computer guy i formatted the new drive and its installing xp on it now then i am going to just transfer all the files from the old drive

wow, i bet you never thought this would happen when you bought that drive. But i learned something.
