AGP 4x Video Cards

I am looking to upgrade to a better video card, Right now I have a Geforce 4 420MX 64 Mb. I want to get a 128 or 256 mb but I can't seem to find any that are compatible with a 4x AGP slot. Can someone please give me a list or some possible suggestions to upgrade to, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Most agp 8x cards can run at 4x, they just dont run as fast as they normally would through an 8x slot im pretty shure of that.

Most 8X will run at 4X. I am running a GV-R925128T 8X 128 Radeon 9250 on this machine right now. ECS K7S5A.

I've heard that most 8x cards aren't backwards compatible with 4x slots. Is that true or not?
I also looked on newegg and most of the 4x/8x AGP cards said "must have 8x AGP slot"
