Last night I set up to do my windows updates download and wandered off to bed. I get up this morning to find a member here had tried to add themself to the .net frameworks window messenger. Now I will not name names but thanks a lot dude you really screwed up my download. 34 megs on a dialup line. I'm not real happy right now. The cats know it and are nowhere to be found.
My xp messenger is completely disabled and the msn 7 software was deleted long time back. It was uninstalled correctly BTW. I did delete the messenger folder from the programs folder and got a message that it may affect other programs.
How do I kill the messenger system without killing my passport ???
