*sigh* I'm still considering on which card to buy. I have only $200 right now, because the system which I was going to build, has been on hold because of college funding. (yeah yeah). So right at the moment, I havae a funding of $200. Which card do you guys recommend? Personally, I like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814125164
because of the 256mb of memory. But also this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102463
becuase of the all-in-one thing it has. Also http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102529 Then http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814127176.

Leadtek PX6600GT TDH Extreme Geforce 6600GT 128MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI-Express x16 Video Card - Retai- second from bottom

Yeah, but wouldn't an x800 compare to be a good choice too? On the otherhand, what about 256mb? Doesn't more memory mean better performance? Or is it just the gpu and not really the memory?

I just talked to my local PC Stop guy, and he said memory really dosen't matter, you gotta take into consideration more the GPU and (although not so much) RAM speed

...but the X800 DOES have 256-bit instead of 128-bit, so you decide which is more important, bit size or gpu/ram speed

I want to play CS:S, Half Life 2, Doom 3, etc. Which is better? 256 bit or a better gpu? I want good display and fast speeds and good lighting etc. What is better?

get the x800 it will out perform the 6600GT in CS:S HL2 and maybe Doom 3 not sure though. GET THE X800 and is it the pro model? Just wondering.
