Compliant RAM?

Okay my Mobo says that the "DDR Standard" is PC3200 but will I be able to use PC3700 with the board? Its an ASUS K8V SE Delux, VIA K8T800 northbridge. I know this is a pretty stupid question but I need to know.

I would think so, but you'd be wasting your money as it only would run at PC3200

Its for a contest, I have a good chance of winning and I didnt know if I should just find someone else to take them off my hands or if my system could use it. OCZ Platinum PC3700 TCC5 very pretty RAM kit.

I'm not 100% sure about RAM past 3200, but I beleive any DDR memory up to 3200 is compatable with any system but will go only as fast as the fastest RAM/what the mobo could handle...

yes it will work. If you are OCing, going with that RAM is a smart choice that is if you can OC that far.
