Compaq Prespario R4025US Notebook

I am looking at this laptop for typical college use... That is, taking notes, writing papers, surfing the internet, and the occaisional first-person shooter.

Its ok but think about this one and save yourself some bucks so you can buy the programs instead of a 60 day trial offer

The computer you choose is ok. I'm a power user, so I wouldn't use that. Actually laptops aren't that great for gaming.

I've had nothing but bad experiences with Compaq. I would say to steer clear. Also, I feel HP needs to stick with printers and scanners. They don't do so well in the PC department either.

They both have faster FSBs and bigger caches. With a memory upgrade, these would be pretty sweet setups.
