ATI's awnser to SLI

I think you should stick with SLI for now and wait awhile and see where they are going with this. It sounds like a great technology and everything, but if you are already set with SLI, just stay with that for awhile.

I say wait for the 7800 GTX. Afterall it comes out on June 21st I believe. Why do you need two graphics card? That's just gets expensive and the performance difference isn't great enough... in games for one.. they don't take advantage of SLI.

Yeah, the downside of SLI is that some games won't be any better when it comes to visuals because they aren't completely tuned for SLI.

Well I've seen even in games that do feel performance increases, is that the improvement isn't really worth it considering the additional cost. I would think if you were like a graphic designer or something along those lines SLI may be worth it. How much does a 6800 Ultra go these days anyways?

Yeah, waiting for the G70 series or the R520 series will payoff even more.
