Rate the Computer!!!!

The mobo has a built in Sound Blaster audio chip. And I wear headphones any way.

I am using either XP Pro or the 64-bit. I already have XP Pro.

The 6800's are like $300.

I was thinking about the x800 but it doesn't have SLI capabilities.

gotta love your sig... man that comp is gonna be sweet bahawolf... and yeah. i have the same question: 80 g hd for $20? lemme guess? ebay?

Hehe.. thanks.
I'm getting the 6800GT now.. :p

As for the hard drive, 20 dollars sounds great if its reliable but what type of hard drive is it and what RPM does it have?

Lets make sure its stable.. :)

The Hard Drive came from a Best Buy Ad in the Sunday paper. Althouh, now that I look at it. It is a Sunday and Monday deal only :(.

Here's a thought. Build me a gaming PC. :) $1,000 budget. No monitor, keyboard, mouse or OS.

Have fun!!!

(This is just to get some more input. I don't want to screw this up.)

The problem I am having is that AMD's processors seem to be very confusing. They have a million different cores. Then when you look at the differences between them specs. they are the same. I look at the specs. on these and they almost look identical. This is my first AMD PC and I just want to find a processor that will run the latest games. I don't think it requires a lot of processor power if you program.I need HELP!!!!! I just don't know what to really look for in AMD's. Intel is easy.

The processor I gave you will run all of the latest games, no problem.
Venice is the newest and best performing core in AMD processors.
