Little challenge.. (You'll prob find easy)

Hi so I just sat my Higher Computing Exam. There was only one question i was not entirely sure on so Ill post it here and see what you fine people come up with!

Joe is playing a game on his computer. The processor uses a 24-bit data bus and a 32-bit address bus.
Calculate the maximum amount of memory which Joe's computer could address. Express your answer in suitable units.

(Hint: I gave my answer in Gigabytes.)

well i never got 4gb, did you do any working or just pick a suitable number?

No my numebrs are as in the question paper, I know we are more used to a data bus of 32 (or 64 ), but the exam setters dont think of sense like that!

I've seen questions like this on A+ exams. I got that 4GB stuck in my mind which is why I just threw it down,
