World Wind allows any user to zoom from satellite altitude into any place on Earth, leveraging high resolution LandSat imagery and SRTM elevation data to experience Earth in visually rich 3D, just as if they were really there.

This an amazing peice of software, it is like Keyhole which you pay top dollar for. The best part of this is that is free.

Yea i like keyhole..It is a good thing, It just hasn't gotten it up to date for my part of the country yet, The details are just not in and I want to see so bad that ball my son threw on the roof.

I have just been looking at Keyhole, it has changed a lot since Google acquired it. A lot more Australian cities in hi res as well. Methinks a years subscription coming up...
 
I would like this program except that it's totally useless. Unless you like studying the Earth, this program would just be a waste of space.
