i don't use trillian any more because it doesn't update users display names which is very annoying

I don't really see the point of Skype. Yeah, it's got good voice quality, but the benefits pretty much stop there. Every messenger service has a voice chat feature as well as a video chat. Granted, they're not the best quality, but it's one step ahead of Skype. It's a nice idea, but nothing that hasn't been done. SkypeOut and SkypeIn however are very interesting features.

because skype's audio quality is like me and you talking on the phone the messangers are like me and you using walkie talkies
