When dual cpu's fully hit with supported programs/Windows support (just out) then all CPU's will be about the same, and this is the way to go instead of upping up megahertz to get a processor to do one task faster, it could use two and split the work. So then it' be easier on any platform to be doing complex scans and stuff but still get smooth playback of games
We'll just have to wait to see when this starts happening though. New consoles are going to be using this technology since programmers will have to work towards it.
