Error- Driver for SiS 7012 Audio

My computer is not detecting the sound card at all. Is that where the problem is??



Not happy Jan! You guys helped me downloaded the driver for SiS 7012 Audio Controller, thakyou. But, guess what - i get an error message "UpdateDriverForAudioDevices" with the number "-536870397" when trying to run setup.exe. Upon reply of the SiS Chipset Support, i was told to contact the seller. My god...HELP!!

Ok...

I'm just comming in to this so let's see.
Check the add/remove programs for the old driver> if there remove it.
Go to device manager and do one of two things or both.
First uninstall the sound device.
Reboot.
When it finds the device it will ask where the drivers are.
Point it to the new drivers.

Or

From the device manager right click the device and select update drivers. Point it to where the drivers are. Reboot.

Let us know how that comes out.
