DDR RAM question

Yes. That appears to be the best that you can do unless you want to upgrade the motherboard.

And if i did that would i have to buy a new processor aswell?

Just buy 2700 speed memory. Theres no point going into all that yet if you don't have any money too. Though its a possibility that you'd have to replace the processor too since newer motherboards would support different chipsets but not neccessarily.

A good home built PC could cost anywhere from $800-$1500. If you want to go all out, you'll end up spending close to $2000 or more. My setup cost me around $1200 which is pretty good considering what I have.

Woah.. is that like with out the monitor and that stuff.. cause got all that... ahh but i suppose your talking in dollars where it would be pound for me..
