Hi I have been doing a lot of research over the past few weeks into building my own custom PC. The parts I have decided on are as follows...

Case (+500W power supply)

Can I get some comments as to whether this is a decent machine all-together? And also are all the parts compatible with one another? Would anyone change any of the parts on the list for ones of similar price?

Thanks

yeah, it's a pretty decent machine, the only change I'd make is the processor, I would get the venice core instead of the winchester. other than that, it's gonna be pretty nice.....good luck with your build

holy crap that case is cheap. yup looks good except the cpu isnt a venice core. not really a big deal though. i'd look into the "NEO 4 PLATINUM SLI" mobo by MSI. its very nice

yeah i noticed a few days ago that ebuyer is doing a range of cases for under £10, few of them are quite smart!

machine looks good to me! :D

This doesn't have anything to do with the computer, but do you like Senses Fail?

thanks for the advice. i'll definately look into buying a venice core instead of the winchester but can i ask wots the difference between them? i'll also have a look at the other motherboard suggested. and by the way yes i do like senses fail very much :D

Yeah you have almost identical specs to me there. You want to get the venice core becasue they have almost identical prices and the venice is better...

yeh ive noticed pretty much everyone has around the same specs as that. hopefully it will play cs:s and hl2 pretty well. im glad ive finally narrowed down the list to those parts, because i was so confused to begin with - specially with the motherboards.
