I have a LG 52X32X52 burner but i cant get it to open im trying to fix it ill post some pictures of it later anyways it has a disk in it but cant open it .

Straighten a paper clip and you will find a tiny hole on the front of the burner. Push the paper clip in and it will open.

If the burner is not working try this.
Create a Restore point and back up the registry.Open regedit.
Look for;

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\system\CurrentControlSet\SetControlClass.
Key name: {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
Value Data:[Delete all value data from upper and lower filters]
Note-Do not delete the key or the multi-string values. Delete only the data values.
Exit regedit and reboot.

If its not on, which might be the case, make sure all leads inside the pc are in properly and secured.

If yuo've checked this, and you see the ide cable going to the motherboard is twisted, put it in the right way (try that anyway, just inserting it another way).
This might be more the problem, as turning it off will be a safety feature if its in wrong.

You might find it will respond then :)

I hope this helps
