Hi, I have a quick question. I was wondering - if I were to record video from PlayStation 2 using a VCR, would I be able to get the video recorded to my computer from that video?

I'm sorry if there is a very obviously answer for this question, I'm just very new to these type of things and I really don't want to waste what little money I have if it isn't going to work.

I don't know about recording ps2 onto tape with a VCR.
But I can help you with the computer part. First, you'll have to find out if you can hook up your VCR to your computer. What kind of video card do you have? Or TV tuner?

its very likely if you could plug ur vcr into your computer (via a tv card or capture card) then you would be able to plug your ps2 straight in and record it direct.
very simple if you have a card with composite video in! these come relatively cheap on ebay!
