windows does not recognize new vid card

?? wat is a chipset??

i have an IBM thinkcentre A50
it has a sff motherboard and only one pci slot


i'm letting my friend borrow my powercolor 9250 to see if it works on his computer, one without integrated graphics, if it works on his comp, then something is up with my comp, if it doesn't, then its the cards fault, so then i return it back to newegg for a replacement

card did work on my friend's comp either...i guess its the vid card's fault

i'm gonna return it back to newegg
