Dvd copying

i bought a dvd drive with the intent of ripping my avi's and mpeg's onto dvd but i cant figure out how to do it so i can play them in my dvd player, any suggestions?

Did you by any chance get Nero 6 with your DVD player? Its only cheap if not.
The program can then convert the Avi's and mpeg's to Mpeg-2 format for DVD and copy it across

This program won't allow you to make DVD menus or anything by the way, it'd just copy and play.

There are many more programs that will convert, though that will do it all in one

yea see i cant figure out what type of disc to do like iso or dvd video files...i have nero 6 i just dont know how to work it properly
