They can't be the wrong way round then.ALLRITE, I HAVE GOTTEN A NEW COPY OF WINDOWS 2000, AND I HAVE ANOTHER PROBLEM NOW, IT BOOTS, THE BLUE SCREEN POPS UP SAYS THAT SETUP IS UPLOADING ALL THE FILES THAN AFTER ITS DONE NOTHING HAPPENS
NOTHING!!!!!
COMPUTER RESTARTS AND IT ASKS TO BOOT AGAIN

CAN ANYONE TELL ME WAT TO ENTER IN DOS TO ACCESS:

Let's start with what is the make and model NUMBERS? Look at the sticker on the bottom and post all the numbers. I know how to read them so just put them all up.

rall had two threads going on the same problem. per posted in the other one. When both threads came up one under the other I made one go away. But still the fact remains more info such as make and model is really needed. Compaq made quite a few different models of the Armada. Need a little more to go on.
