nice set up hope u get it all togther and working soon, and also buy the stuff its an expensive rig.

urr. SLI is only for nvidia cards.

And only 6 series at that. ALso it's only for PCI-Express Cards. SO you can't get that card.

Are you going to be getting two cards in the near future?
Cause if you aren't, that motherboard is not the one for you.

I have bought enough parts to make this thing go. I had to scale back on my spending a bit. I went with a 6600GT but can add another in an SLI configuration later if I want to. I also only got 1gb of RAM for now, and a slower CPU then intended. But this machine should still be a speed demon that I can over-clock easy enough, and upgrade when I have more money to dump in.

Yeah I'd agree with Jac006 on this one. Don't get a Radeon 9800 Pro since it is getting old now compared to new hardware and isn't worth buying new now, though I have to admit, its still competing in the latest games, just not with very high frame rates.

I have that card and run games at high/medium settings, and get around 20-40fps at around 1024x768 as the resolution, not bad really...

The 6600GT would def do a better job of it though, and is newer, and so will run new games for longer.
It is also worth every bit of cash! I'll be getting one soon to replace the Radeon.

indeed! but when you say this one, do you mean you usually dont agree with me? or am i just missing the picture?

yea the 9800 pro is outta the question. AGP doesn't go with PCI-ex. get a non SLI mobo...the MSI neo 4 platinum single PCI-EX should do, about $149.99 on newegg i think and then get a 6800ultra or even better X850XT PE!!!*DROOL!!!*
