Hi to everyone out there,
I am developing an application which plays streaming audio (MP3)
and I am using MS Media player 7.1 active X control for playing the
audio locally.
I wanted to know which version of the media player should i use so that my application is compatible with all my users having Windows 2000 and above.

Windows Media Player 9 is your best bet, and supports all old windows too.
Version 10 is only supported with the latest windows. No proper changes though except for mp3 ripping support and a few modifications to the design
