USB 2.0 problem

i have had trouble with my system hanging for ages after the windows splash screen.so recently i decided to investigate and i have come to the conclusion that it is my usb 2.0 i have 4 onboard and 4 pci usb.
if i disable the onboard USBs and uninstall the pci usb it boots up great.
i cant seem to get around this as i need some usb ports.anyone had any similar problems.

well unless you want to buy another pci card youre pretty much out of luck if the on board usb dont work.......maybe try installing the drivers for the on board usb

all my usb work onboard and pci but they just seem to make my sytem bootup very slow when i install usb 2.0

HAve you tried updating the drives for the USB 2?

as far as i know i have the latest (i think) as my motherboard software is msi live update and its suppose to get the latest drivers. but im open to suggestions if i can get later drivers.
