can you use any kind of processer with any kind of mobo

no. You have to make sure the processor designed to use a certain socket will be compatible with the same socket on the motherboard. You will see Athlon 64s use Socket 754, 939, and 940. Socket 939 being the most popular now. The processor you look up will tell you what socket to use for the motherboard and all you have to do is find that board to match. The motherboard will also tell you what type of CPU you can use so there is no way you can mix it up unless you pay no attention to details.
