blue screen of death stop:0X000000ED

Hi there,
I have XP home on my computer with 128 ram.
I took the memory out to find what it was and when I replaced it I got the blue screen of death with stop:0X000000ED(0X81B687E8)0XC0000032,0X00000000,0X00000000. I have made 6 boot disks and when I get to number 4 it shows serial.sys corrupted and the computer restarts. Can anyone help please.

buy more RAM that will help don't forget Windows XP takes up a lot you know

Well don't take out your RAM next time and get a friend or someone that knows alot about computers to fix it.
