What video card have you got? Is it one on the motherboard? Or is it one in a slot liek AGP/PCI/PCI-E? You'd probably know if it was one in a slot, it'd have a fan on it

Well lol, the green port is the one where the sound would come out from and should be at the back of the motherboard slots somewhere, known as Line Out

The external speakers will have to be plugged up to the green to work. if you don't have external speakers, that would explain why no sound is coming out...

Other port colours can mean Microphone, Line in, Auxillary in, etc, but sound wouldn't come out of these
