Would 512 of ballistix run games ok? Becasue thats all I can afford.

Yeah I'd say so. You have a good video card to back it up and that 3000+ CPU will have no probs. That speed RAM will be perfect too, so yeah, you shouldn't have any problems.
I would get another 512mb though for your system once you get it all up 99nasha
That make also uses low latencies which is why its more expensive, so should be faster still

Holy crap i didnt know that the PC4000 ram costs soooo much. 600 for 1gig yikes.
