Problems booting computer

It's not getting past POST either? Like you know how it always list the memory and your graphics card RAM everytime you boot up? Your motherboard is probably screwed. Have you tried using your power supply on another motherboard? I doubt most people will have a spare motherboard handy, but it may be the culprit unless someone has another idea.

Yes, the monitor doesn't show anything while it boots up then turns off. I think it probably is the motherboard, and everything else seems to be in good working order.

It's time like this I wish I had a whole bunch of spare parts to test with (if I had a problem like yours). It's tough too because you can't even access BIOS due to the fact that it cuts out so early.

allthough it is probably a hardware problem,
just for shits and giggles reset ur bios and see what happens

I have some posts on other forums about this problem, so far, one of the guys has commented that it might be the CMOS battery that needs replacing. Anybody else think this might be the problem?
