Limewire problems...

I just downloaded the newest version, 4.8.1, and it crashes a lot. Sometimes I can open it up just fine and start downloading things, but then after about 15 minutes it'll just close, sometimes it will just give me the loading screen and then it won't even open after it loads. I've tried reinstalling a bunch of times and no luck. I have no idea what's causing this, anyone know?

Can you by any chance use the older version again? It might just be a problem with the version that hasn't been sorted out yet on some PC's

Well I wa snever using it, I used it like once in my whole life and that was when it was first introduced post napster. Do you know where I could get the older version?
