getting a new video card

i'm getting a new video card for my comp and i was wondering if there were certain requirements for video cards.

First off do you know if you have an AGP, PCI, or PCI express slot?

i'm not to sure what specs you want as in AGP or PCI, i can tell you that it is a Dell 3000 2.6 ghz celeron, 80gb harddrive, 256 ram, i don't know how to find the other specs. if you tell me how i'll look them up.

open your case do you see below the CPU are all the slots ligned up or is the top one over to the right a little, and probualy a different color? if so agp

It probably doesn't have an AGP slot. The Dimension 3000 have integrated graphics. If you do expand on the video card, it'll probably have to go into a PCI slot.

i opened it up and it was 3 white slots all in the same line

Is there a 4th slot at all, a brown slot that sits above theM?
